Original Torpedo 40 longboard or Malakai 40 longboard?! For Someone Short?
I just gained a new interest in longboarding and am hoping to be able to master this one set wonder Tada! I got the cash for some nice ones but I'm not going over $200.
However, I am in need of help. I'm just a beginner but am interested in a board that would allow me to go through some small hills, freestyle, cruise, and get around town. I live in Colorado. I'm not near thinking about boarding down the deep foothills nor mountains (though now I think about it, sounds quiet fun-but maybe far later)
I saw these Original boards and loved them immediately. I'm wondering which board gives me more of what I'm looking for and I guess the pro and cons of them. I thought the unique trucks were cool. The Sector 9 brand also caught my eye, can anyone give me similar suggestions of those too?
I am short of 5'4" and weigh about 115 pounds. I'm a girl too but that probably doesn't matter. Ha! So if you can please help! Thank you!
Original is not very good at all. The trucks are fun for about a month, but quickly become a pain in the ass (lots of maintenance, they get sloppy, they're not very versatile).
Check out the Earthwing Superglider. Very good do-it-all board, and it's cheap.
